Investigation Services

We have investigated more than a thousand fire and explosion related incidents. This ranges from fires in domestic properties, industrial units and restaurants to chemical plants, ships, cars, trucks and trains.  

We have experience of explosions involving gases such as natural gas, hydrogen, acetylene and flammable by-products from manufacturing processes.

Our airworthiness and  structural integrity expert has spent the last 20 years assessing  in-service and test failures on a large number of aircraft types. 

We  have extensive experience with mechanisms  such as static overload, fatigue, corrosion, and stress corrosion  cracking, and understand the complexities behind establishing root cause.

With working experience in the chemical industry we have advised on process/control failure, raw material quality issues, process safety including HAZOP and risk assessments. 

We are familiar with interpreting most qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.

In depth knowledge/ hands on experience of composite material manufacture, adhesives, coatings and polymeric components.

We have investigated a wide array of sprinkler activations/failures; parting of pipe fittings and gas/liquid escapes from industrial plant and storage tanks.

We have experience of investigating cable strikes, switch gear failure, supply equipment faults and brooad range of issues with white goods.
